| THROW IT AWAY, FORGET YESTERDAY, WE'LL MAKE THE GREAT ESCAPE Nevermind that they're so mainstream now/ I've moved on (musically), this is so Sec 2 I can't believe I'm not there with Vic & Paul watching Boys Like Girls live. They just called though so I got to listen to the great escape and jump around the kitchen pretending..
Anyway this week went by pretty fast. I remember having breakfast at McDonalds one day, with Wee, Vic, Pauline, Jeanhui & Xuanwei. That was funny, I threw tiny rolled up tissue balls into Vic's empty (!) cup and she forgot about it. Five minutes later she sucks her straw and hesitates for a moment before spitting everything out. Oops. Then we all trooped down to Isetan to look at Fran.
On Friday, I met up with Wong & Juanmin to go back to Pei Chun. Hung around Toa Payoh waiting for Eileen, I think this was when Juan fell in love with my camera, she spent the rest of the day with it around her neck. My primary school is very cheena now, I am rather disgusted. We had a long lunch at Manhattan Fish Market where we just talked. It was lovely catching up with everybody, but I looked around at the people who were once my best friends and I felt sad thinking about the number of friendships I've lost over the years. People change in ways you least expect, and sometimes the good memories and the bad don't seem to match up. Anyway, we walked our lunch off and ended up at Orchard where the boys went to LAN (Juan was laughing at the way I pronounce this word, I don't get it). Walked around Wisma with Eileen & Juan, and that got us really exhausted, so we just sat under the lifts and waited.. til dinner where the queue at Swensens was alkakjhfjsh long. I got home at 10, which says alot. I'm not sure how I made my day out to be, but I think I spent most of it feeling really happy. Which only meant that something horrid would happen, because somebody once told me if you let yourself be too happy, you'll only end up sad later on. So yes I did cry myself to sleep.
The people who came back, I would like to point out that this was despite my class having a 30 girls to 14 boys ratio. I would also like to point out that the only people who came back were either from Hwa Chong or Raffles, haha. We have no life!
